GhIPSS and Pan Africa Savings and Loans Deepen Strategic Collaboration to Advance Financial Inclusion

The Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPSS) hosted the Chief Executive Officer of Pan Africa Savings and Loans, Jacqueline Mpare, for a high-level courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration within Ghana’s financial services ecosystem and advancing shared goals for financial inclusion and digital transformation.

The engagement focused on exploring strategic partnership opportunities to enhance the growth and efficiency of Ghana’s digital payments landscape, with particular emphasis on expanding access to secure, interoperable, and customer-centric financial services.

Speaking during the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of GhIPSS, Clara Arthur, reaffirmed the institution’s mandate to deliver robust and inclusive payment infrastructure that supports all licensed financial institutions, including savings and loans companies.

On her part, Ms. Mpare commended GhIPSS for its leadership in driving innovation and strengthening Ghana’s payment systems architecture. She reiterated Pan Africa Savings and Loans’ commitment to working closely with key industry players to improve service delivery and broaden financial access for underserved communities.

The visit underscored the growing importance of collaboration between payment infrastructure providers and financial institutions in accelerating Ghana’s digital financial transformation and expanding inclusive access to formal financial services.

It also highlighted the role of women in executive leadership within the financial sector, as both institutions continue to champion innovation, partnership, and inclusive growth.

GhIPSS continues to collaborate with banks, savings and loans institutions, fintechs, and other ecosystem stakeholders to build a resilient, interoperable, and inclusive national payment infrastructure that supports Ghana’s broader economic development agenda.
