The CEO of GhIPSS, Mrs. Clara Arthur, joined payment systems directors and central bankers at the SWIFT Payment Market Infrastructure (PMI) event held at the Kenya Monetary Institute in Nairobi, where she spoke on “Advancing Instant and Interoperable Payments in Africa.”
The Government of Ghana has taken a major step toward modernising public financial management with the signing of a Service Level Agreement to integrate the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) with the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement System (GhIPSS).

Representing Ghana’s national payments ecosystem, she shared insights on what is required to accelerate sustainable fintech growth across the continent.
